THE COLLUSION DELUSION: A LITTLE IMMODESTY

In the past two weeks you almost certainly have heard/seen the term “Collusion Delusion” used by various media people – either to defend President Trump against the charge that his campaign colluded with Russia or to sneer at the claim that he didn’t.

But where did that cute little rhyme-description come from?

I can’t swear I was the first to use it.    But if I wasn’t, I must be pretty close.

I used it several times in February and March of this year – long before most.  But, hey, that’s just a couple of months ago.

How about September 8, 2017 – over a year and a half ago?

That’s when I wrote a blog titled “THE COLLUSION DELUSION: ANOTHER PIECE FALLS APART”

Doubt me?  Here’s the link.

I apologize for the immodesty.  But, given how extensively the term is being used by now, if I actually am the first I’d like at least a minimal amount of recognition.

OK, self-promotion now over.  Back to politics…where it is never over.
