Hillary Clinton ran a presidential campaign last year which was predicated, in no small part, on the fact that she is a woman.
During that campaign she never failed to lecture us about women being treated inappropriately in the workplace.
Not surprisingly, therefore, she had plenty to say about Donald Trump’s vulgar, obnoxious comments about women – including the now-famous “pussy comment” – which were made 11 years before, during what he thought was a private, unrecorded conversation. Fair enough.
But now we have Harvey Weinstein being outed – no0t as someone who makes stupid locker-room talk, but as a serial sexual harasser who abused countless women for decades.
And not one word from Hillary Clinton about it.
Could this have something to do with the fact that she and Hubby Bubba (speaking of serial sexual abusers) have been pals with Weinstein for so long? That he contributed almost $50,000 to her presidential campaign, somewhere between $100,000 and $250,000 to the Clinton Foundation, and something like $1,000,000 to various Democrat candidates over the years?
Naaaahhh, couldn’t be. When were the Clintons ever willing to compromise the principles their piously-proclaimed principles for money?
