Today’s Venezuela.
Do you have any idea how dire the situation in Venezuela is?
How people are starving there, not unlike they do in places like North Korea and Afghanistan?
How the “government” (if you can call the horror show started by hugo chavez and continued by nicolas maduro a functioning government) is rationing everything – including electricity and food/household staples?
Before these socialist geniuses took over, Venezuela was among the most prosperous countries in South America. Look at it now.
Look at the army, stifling massive protests. Are they ready to shoot their fellow citizens for demanding the most basic services?
Take a good look. Especially you Bernie Sanders fans. See what the years of socialism – e.g. keeping people dependent while handing things to them “for free”off the backs of workers, coupled with having no idea of how to actually run a government – has resulted in.
Then check the situation in Greece to find out that this is not just a one-country fluke.
