kim davis is back as a Kentucky County Clerk. And is refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples – as the law says she must (don\’t tell me about state law either; the Supreme Court ruled on this, which supersedes state laws.)
Every time she refuses to do so she breaks the law. She therefore has no business as a County Clerk. All legal steps to remove her should be taking place immediately – and, if necessary (which, in my opinion it is), she should be put right back in jail.
No one has the right to deny kim davis her religious beliefs. But she has no right to subject anyone else to them either. The law is the law, and if she won\’t follow the law she suffers the consequences. End of story.
