TWO DEAD POLICE OFFICERS. WILL THERE BE STREET PROTESTS?

Two Hattiesburg, Mississippi police officers – Benjamin Deen and Liquori Tate – were gunned down last night, during a routine stop – which, it is suspected, was actually a set-up, an ambush.  Officer Deen was White, offficer Tate was Black.

The suspects – Curtis Banks and Marvin Banks – are Black.  Both have criminal records. (UPDATE:  Three arrests have been made:  Marvin Banks and Joanie Holloway, both being charged with two capital offenses, and Mavin Banks\’ brother, Curtis Banks, as an accessory after the fact to the capital offenses).

Hattiesburg better brace itself for protesters to stream in and decry street thugs who kill cops…and the rioters, looters and arsonists who will be among them to take Hattiesburg down…and for protests to materialize in cities across the country…and for demands that there be more protection against violent street thugs…

…oh, wait.

One other thing:  How many emissaries do you figure the Obama administration will send to the funerals for these officers?  As many as he sent for Freddie Gray (three), or as many as he sent for Officer Brian Moore, who was shot and killed last week and whose funeral was yesterday (none)?
