Chutzpah: a yiddish-derived word meaning gall, audacity.
Synonym: Hillary Clinton
You can say a lot of things about Hillary Clinton. But you can’t say she doesn’t have chutzpah.
No matter how diligently mainstream media try to bury it, Ms. Clinton’s collusion with foreign nationals – including British (Christopher Steele), Russian (virtually all the sources for his dossier were Russian) and Ukrainian (the infamous Uranium One deal which Hillary and Bill Clinton profited monumentally from) – is right there on the 50 yard line for everyone to see.
But because media have provided her cover, by working so hard over the past two years to bury these indisputable examples of collusion, Clinton now ignores her own behavior and attacks President Trump for the collusion he was just cleared of by the mueller report.
Here are the first two paragraphs of her op-ed in today’s edition of the (equally Trump-hating) Washington Post:
Our election was corrupted, our democracy assaulted, our sovereignty and security violated. This is the definitive conclusion of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s report. It documents a serious crime against the American people.
The debate about how to respond to Russia’s “sweeping and systematic” attack — and how to hold President Trump accountable for obstructing the investigation and possibly breaking the law — has been reduced to a false choice: immediate impeachment or nothing. History suggests there’s a better way to think about the choices ahead.
If you want to read the rest of this self-serving, incredibly obtuse mung (she references her time on the Watergate commission – from which she was dumped by Chief Counsel Jerome Zeifman, himself a Democrat, without a reference or a recommendation, because her work was shoddy and unethical*) you’ve got the link – and, I hope, a very strong stomach.
But let me remind you again: the mueller report said there was no evidence of any member of the Trump campaign colluding with Russia.
Let me also remind you that the dossier, written by British national Christopher Steele and sourced almost entirely by Russian nationals, which Hillary Clinton’s campaign bought and paid for is somehow not supposed to be a part of this.
And with the above facts in place, Hillary Clinton writes this op-ed? Holy excrement.
You want chutzpah? THAT’S chutzpah
One other thing: If you google either Jerome Zeifman Watergate Commission” or “Hillary Clinton Uranium One”, the page is stuffed with “fact-check” sites (all of them leftward/pro-Democrat) spinning this to suggest that nothing ever happened. You have to go pages in to find a different point of view.
Anyone who thinks google is a neutral source is delusional. And it’s far from the only one.
*In Zeifman’s own words, from an article originally published in the New York Post — which I could not find when I googled it, but did find reprinted at freerepublic.com:
IN December 1974, as general counsel and chief of staff of the House Judiciary Committee, I made a personal evaluation of Hillary Rodham (now Mrs. Clinton), a member of the staff we had gathered for our impeachment inquiry on President Richard Nixon. I decided that I could not recommend her for any future position of public or private trust.
Why? Hillary’s main duty on our staff has been described by as “establishing the legal procedures to be followed in the course of the inquiry and impeachment.” A number of the procedures she recommended were ethically flawed. And I also concluded that she had violated House and committee rules by disclosing confidential information to unauthorized persons.
That clear enough?
