Since we\’re on the subject of the movie “Truth”, our quote of the day will be from someone who has a more than passing acquaintance with the actual events it wasn\’t based on (I can\’t say “was” based on, because “Truth” is so ridiculously untruthful).
From former President of CBS news, Andrew Heyward, we have this movie review:
“It takes peopleresponsible for the worst embarrassment in the history of CBS News, and whatwas at the time a grievous blow to the credibility of a proud newsorganization, and turns them into martyrs and heroes. Only Hollywoodcould come up with that.”
If you like honesty, you have to love that quote. And since I do like honesty, Mr. Heyward wins Quote Of The Day honors.
