That blog title might look a little silly, since Minority Leaders Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries are, of course, Democrats and they supported the harder-than-hard left Democrats who are now major players in their party.
But neither of them are as far-left as the harder-than-hard leftists want to accept. And both (gasp!!!) support Israel, which makes them poison.
My guess? Both are out. And even if I’m wrong and they’re in, it will be by the skin of their teeth, with the harder-than-hard leftists sure to be on their tails every minute, looking for ways to get rid of them.
Democrats will, of course, be fighting Republicans for the next two years. But they’re going to be fighting each other as well. And who knows how that will turn out.
Don’t expect the battle to be a happy one.
