THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today\’s quote comes to us from comedian Jerry Seinfeld.  Here, in his words, is why he avoids performing on college campuses:

“I don\’t play colleges, but I hear a lot of people tell me, \’Don\’t go near colleges. They\’re so PC.\’

“They just want to use these words: \’That\’s racist;\’ \’That\’s sexist;\’. \’That\’s prejudice\’.  They don\’t know what the fuck they\’re talking about.”

According to the article I read, which provided this quote, Chris Rock and Larry the Cable Guy also avoid colleges for the same reason; audiences that are too PC.

And, though they may not realize it, these guys are the lucky ones.  They should try going on those same campuses to give a lecture supportive of  Israel….or any conservative position at all.

I award Jerry Seinfeld Quote Of The Day honors for articulating, in an atypically blunt way (Mr. Seinfeld rarely uses that kind of language, at least in public) the problem with so many of today\’s college campuses:  Political Correctness run wild, in the form of mob-rule recitations stating just the right buzz words of the day (to immediately be replaced by the next buzzwords they are programmed to recite).

Enjoy paying that tuition, mom and dad.  This is all too often what you\’re getting for it.
