As you of course know, Benjamin Netanyahu\’s consistency regarding a two-state solution has come into question.
With that in mind, I thought you might be interested in this clip from January 17th, 1988 – 27 years ago– when the young Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations – fella named Benjamin Netanyahu, was asked about his country\’s willingness to engage in a two-state solution:
Funny thing: his position then then was exactly what it is now. We want peace, we offer peace, they want to attack instead, and until they become a peace partner the two-state solution is not possible.
Consider it a tutorial for anyone who thinks the problem is Israel.
