Excerpted from Sam Tonkin\’s article for London\’s Daily Mail:
The German government is unable to say where more than halfof the one million asylum seekers allowed into the country have ended up,MailOnline can exclusively reveal.
Government statistics show that Germany registered1.1million applications by the end of last year under its EASY system, whichdoes not record much more than an applicant\’s county of origin.
German Interior Ministry spokesman Dr Harald Neymannsadmitted that delays in the processing of asylum seeker applications wouldaccount for some of those missing.
But he also said that in some cases refugees may not havestayed in Germany but instead gone on to a different country elsewhere in theEU.
Who are these people? Where did they come from you can bet it wasn\’t just Syria)? Where are they going? What are their intentions?
The German answer, apparently is: ?????????????????????????????
And the rest of the European Union (EU) is not that much different.
At the end of World War II, when US troops got to the concentration camps. General Eisenhower insisted they take as many photographs of what they saw as possible. His reason? That eventually people would forget what happened, maybe even deny it ever did happen. so he wanted as complete a record as possible.
The EU countries – especially Germany – better start taking lots and lots of pictures of their culture.
