…read this excerpt from John Binder’s article at breitbart.com:
The United States is home to nearly 20 percent of the globe’s migrant population, a new study finds.
The Pew Research Center reveals in a new study that the U.S. has admitted more foreign nationals than any other country in the world. Roughly 18 percent of the world’s migrant population lives in the U.S., the study found.
About 44.5 million foreign-born residents now live in the U.S., far surpassing Germany’s 12.2 million foreign-born population and Russia’s nearly 12 million foreign-born population.
In considering the above, please also keep in mind that most other countries have physical borders – thus places for migrants to emigrate from – with more our 2 neighbors: Mexico and Canada.
Germany, for example – a distant second to the United States in # of immigrants – has borders with 9 countries: The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland, Austria, The Czech Republic, Poland and Denmark.
So the next time someone tells you that the USA is unfair, unfeeling and unwelcoming towards immigrants, you might want to mention these facts. Maybe they’ll be helpful in overcoming the misinformation and disinformation that has been drummed into their heads by the mainstream media/Democrat axis.
It’s not easy informing someone that what they “know” is wrong. But at least it’s worth a try.

I would add that the 44.5 million in this article are here legally that number does not include the 25-35 million illegals.
