On Thursday I posted a blog which suggested that Hillary Clinton has hurriedly decided to announce her candidacy because her poll numbers are dropping – quickly – and she had better get herself out in front of the public, to try and stem the negative momentum.
At that time I mentioned the the Quinnipiac poll, which showed her favorability rating dropping from 46% positive/47% negative in February to 41% positive/51% in early April.
Well, it ain\’t the only one.
Take a look at these data, from the Bloomberg News poll:
|
“… For each, please tell me if your feelings are very favorable, mostly favorable, mostly unfavorable, or very unfavorable. If you don\’t know enough to answer, just say so. Hillary Clinton, former U.S. secretary of state.” |

Whoops.
From +21% positive, steadily downward, to +4%? That is not good. That is grey hair-inducingly bad.
No wonder she felt the need to jump in, before things got even worse….
….but who is to say that, with the email scandal and the tons of money poured into the Clinton Foundation from parties obviously looking for something in return – and maybe being accommodated by then-Secretary Of State Clinton – they won\’t continue to get worse anyway?
Stay tuned.
