HILLARY\’S DOWNWARD VORTEX (CONT.)

Ken Berwitz

The downward vortex continues to swirl.

Excerpted from Nick Gass\’s article at politico.com:

In the latest Monmouth (University) survey, Clinton drew 42 percent to Biden\’s 22 percent. Sanders picked up 20 percent, while 10 percent were undecided and all other candidates earned 1 percent or less. In last month\’s Monmouth poll, Clinton picked up 52 percent, compared with 16 percent for Sanders and 12 percent for Biden.

The results come days after NBC News/Marist polls showed Sanders with a double-digit lead in New Hampshire (with Biden not included as a choice) and encroaching upon Clinton\’s advantage in Iowa.

In Tuesday\’s poll, Biden drew the largest net positive rating among Democratic voters and leaners, with 71 percent seeing the veep in a favorable light and just 9 percent unfavorable.

Fascinating.
If these data are correct, in one month Hillary Clinton has gone from leading the combination of Sanders and Biden by 52% to 28% to being tied at 42% – 42%.  And looking at Joe Biden alone – who isn\’t even an announced candidate yet – the gap has dropped in half, from a 40% deficit to 20%.
Wasn\’t this the month that Hillary Clinton was supposed to have put the email scandal behind her?
If you want to see how a downward vortex works,  just flush the nearest toilet bowl.  Then, as you watch what happens in there, decide if you\’re seeing a graphic representation of Hillary Clinton\’s “inevitability”.
Believe me, she\’s evitable.
