HILLARY CLINTON: EVITABLE (CONT.)

I wonder how Hillary Clinton and her people feel about the latest, just-released Gallup poll?

Here are two parts of it.  Please look them over and think about how you would feel if you were one of them:

Hillary Clinton, Recent Favorability Trend

.

Favorable Ratings of 2016 Democratic Presidential Candidates, Based on U.S. Adults

Interesting, wouldn\’t you say?

What you see in the first chart is that Hillary Clinton\’s favorability is nosediving – with the nosedive accelerating over the three months since she announced her candidacy.  At that time she had a favorability rating of 50% vs. 39% unfavorable:  solidly, if not overwhelmingly, positive.  Now, after three full months of a campaign carefully orchestrated to be as positive to Ms. Clinton as possible, it is at 43% favorable to 46% unfavorable:  from 11% positive to 3% negative.

Not good.

And the second chart is no better for her.  Bernie Sanders – among people who know him (most still do not) has a net favorable rating of +4%.  In other words, an obscure, 73 year old senator from Vermont has a higher net-favorable rating than The Queen.

Again, not good.  Maybe even worse than the first chart.

There are still people who assume that Hillary Clinton is cakewalking into the 2016 Democrat nomination.  But if these data are correct, what do you suppose it tells potential candidates who would give Ms. Clinton a serious run for her money…Joe Biden, in particular?  Do they not show that Hillary Clinton is eminently vulmerable?

Put another way, if Bernie Sanders can do this well against her, how would a 6 term Senator who has spent the last 8 years as Barack Obama\’s Vice President do in the Democrat primaries?  Is it fair to say he might do very, very well?

Hillary Clinton inevitable?  Believe me, she\’s evitable.
