Note to President Obama:
Yesterday I noted that Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has announced that he will oppose the nuclear “deal” you and John Kerry cooked up with Iran, and will vote to override your veto as well.
My entire blog was very short. Here it is:
President Obama, speaking of “Republicans” who oppose the nuclear “deal” he and Kerry cooked up:
“Just because Iranian hardliners chant “Death to America” does not mean that that\’s what all Iranians believe. In fact, it\’s those hardliners that are more satisfied with the status quo. It\’s those hardliners chanting “death to America” who\’ve been most opposed to the deal. They\’re making common cause with the Republican Caucus.”
A question for you, Mr. Obama: now that Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has come out against the nuclear “deal”, is he equivalent to the Iranian “Death to America!” fanatics too?

Now I have found out that four more Jewish Democrats have also come out against the deal: Eliot Engel, Steve Israel and Nita Lowey of New York, and Ted Deutch of Florida.
The hard left has absolutely skewered Schumer for his stance – one that I doubted he would take because it might well cost him his shot as Democrat Minority Leader/Majority Leader if his party should regain control of the Senate. I give Mr. Schumer great credit for putting integrity over political ambition.
Now that there are four more usually loyal Democrats who do not have the heart or the stomach to approve of this disastrous deal, will you be marginalizing them the way you marginalized “the Republican caucus”? Will you be talling us that they also are making common cause with the “Death to America” fanatics….who, let\’s not forget, also chant “Death to Israel”?
Not a word out of you, Mr. President?
