Einstein is said to have defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result.
I have another definition of insanity: supporting an organization that hates you and wishes you death.
With that in mind, here is an invitation for tonight’s event at the Palabras Bilingual Book Store in Phoenix, Arizona:

Saturday, March 16, 2024 – 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Join us for a night of Drag and Community as we gather at Palabras Book Store in solidarity with Palestine.
We will have local organizers, speeches, education, food, and of course, DRAG! We have an especially talented cast for you, entry is free so bring tips for the artists!
I swear, this is not made-up. Not amateurish satire. This is real.
Do the geniuses running, and participating in, this event have any idea what would happen if they tried to do this in “Palestine”?
How, I wonder, do they think they’d make out with a drag show – for any reason at all – in, say, Gaza City?
What do you figure is the over/under on how many would be dead before the show began, or how many would survive until it was over – I’m talking about the performers and the audience both.
Running a drag show in “Palestine” would be roughly equivalent to running Russian Appreciation Night in downtown Kiev. Or A Night Of Black Culture at a klan rally.
Whoever is in charge of this event is in desperate need of help – maybe a doctor who specializes in reversing lobotomies.
On the other hand, if this is just hating Jews – which seems more and more palatable to the “woke” crowd (or always was there, just not as visible until now) – I guess it it’s just business as usual.
After almost 58 centuries, it’s not like we aren’t expecting it.
