Today’s quote comes to us from troy jackson, the Democrat Senate candidate from Maine; the one who replaced primary winner graham platner because platner, apart from a multitude of other issues, was overtly anti-semitic.
Here is what jackson said yesterday, during a TV broadcast on Portland Maine’s CBS affiliate station, about the alleged “genocide” in gaza; the one that any reasonable look at statistics does not in any way bear out:
“It’s unfortunate that there are people here in Maine that don’t like to use that term only because they’re Jewish and what that means to them, with the Holocaust.
“[Israel’s war in Gaza] fits that description and it is. It’s [an] unbelievable thing that’s happened there that people that are innocent are being murdered, and it is a genocide.”
Damn those Jews. How dare they justify the systematic murder of all Gazans (that’s what genocide is, folks; the systematic murder of a specific group of people).
And as for the fact that there is comprehensive, credible information showing that this is not in any way true, not to mention the obvious reality that if Israel were committing genocide it would be indiscriminately bombing cities/population centers, which it obviously is not? Irrelevant ‘n’ immaterial. These are Jews we are talking about so that doesn’t count.
I award troy jackson Quote Of The Day “honors” for demonstrating that Maine Democrats substituted one anti-Semitic left wing idiot with another.
May incumbent Republican – moderate, often anti-Trump Republican – Susan Collins win in a landslide.
