OF UNCLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS, RAIDS AND CULPABILITY

Remember two years ago, when FBI agents – armed SWAT teams, actually – suddenly, with no forewarning, raided the Mar-A-Lago home of former President Donald Trump, went through it completely, room by room (indications are that Melania’s belongings were of particular interest) and came out with classified material – material that Trump accumulated as President, and had full authority to unilaterally declassify any and all of it at will?

Remember last year when, with full warning – no surprise at all –  agents searched – not raided but searched – Joe Biden’s home and found massive amounts of classified documents he accumulated as Vice President and Senator, when he had no legal right to them and no authority to declassify a thing?

Well, now we find out that, when approving the Mar-A-Lago raid, deadly force was authorized “if necessary”.

The specific statement – which the FBI claims is nothing more than standard procedure for searches – states:

“Law Enforcement officers of the Department of Justice may use deadly force when necessary.”

My reaction to this claim?  It certainly looks like a standard-issue statement to me….

…but only if that same statement was in force when agents searched Biden’s home.

If the FBI can show me it was used then as well, and the issue is over.  But if the FBI cannot, then don’t tell me this was standard procedure.  Because it wasn’t and they have acted as a politically weaponized entity and that is lying to my face.

Let me finish by reiterating what I’ve said several times already in this blog, but bears repeating now.

-The Hur report said that Biden willfully, knowingly had possession of classified information – which, again, he accumulated when he had absolutely no legal right to do so.  But Hur says Biden shouldn’t be prosecuted because he wouldn’t be convicted.  Why?  Because  “at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”.

-If you believe he is he is “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”, then he has no business being president now, let alone for a second four year term.  He must be replaced immediately.

-If you do not believe this assessment, then you must also believe he has no excuse for being a criminal who illegally took possession of classified documents and illegally kept them at his private home.  He should be charged, tried and convicted.

If we had real media – i.e. media with the objective of neutrally presenting the news – those two points would have been publicized, non-stop, ever since the search of Biden’s home.  But we have no such media, so – with very few exceptions – they have been more than happy to look the other way on Biden’s – and, more generally Democrats’ – behalf.

It doesn’t get more shameful.
