A SICK, PARTISAN PROSECUTOR WITH A NAZI STREAK

Last week I wrote about a rogue prosecutor in Wisconsin, named john chisholm, who hates Governor Scott Walker with a passion and has mercilessly gone after his supporters in the most sick, gestapo-like way I have ever seen used by someone in his position.

Well, now chisholm apparently is threatening Governor Walker himself.  For the crime of telling the public about the actions chisholm has taken.

David French, writing for National Review, is all over this – in a way you will never see from mainstream media (unless the rogue prosecutor happens to be a Republican, that is).  Here are a few excerpts from his latest piece:

If a prosecutor wants to assure the public he\’s not out of control, perhaps he shouldn\’t suggest that critics could be prosecuted.

On Saturday, Wisconsin governor Scott Walker commented on Milwaukee District Attorney John Chisholm\’s use of armed, pre-dawned raids against conservative targets of his extraordinarily expansive “John Doe” investigations:

“I said even if you\’re a liberal Democrat, you should look at (the raids) and be frightened to think that if the government can do that against people of one political persuasion, they can do it against anybody, and more often than not we need protection against the government itself.

“As [National Review] pointed out, there were real questions about the constitutionality of much of what they did, but it was really about people trying to intimidate people…

“They were looking for just about anything. As I pointed out at the time, it was largely a political witch hunt.”

As public criticism goes, this statement is mild – especially when the criticized conduct included officers swarming into homes, taunting, yelling, denying access to lawyers, barging into sleeping kids\’ rooms, threatening to batter down doors, and then demanding silence from the victims. And keep in mind that not one of the women who came forward to describe these raids has ever been charged with any crimes (#WarOnWomen?) In fact, Walker\’s critique is milder even than Heather Digby Parton\’s at the very left Salon. She called the raids “intimidation, pure and simple.”

But Walker\’s comment was apparently too much for Chisholm, who broke his own (official) silence about the John Doe investigations with this remarkable statement:

“As to defamatory remarks, I strongly suspect the Iowa criminal code, like Wisconsin\’s, has provisions for intentionally making false statements intended to harm the reputation of others.”

Think about what is this genius saying.  He doesn\’t like Governor Walker talking about his ugly, disgusting, brownshirt-like incursions into people\’s homes, complete with threats that they must never tell anyone what happened.  So, instead of apologizing profusely for gestapo-like tactics – as any decent human being would do – he is suggesting (threatening) that Scott Walker\’s criticism is somehow a criminal act.

Does john chisholm think that the Governor of his state is as helpless as the innocent people he treated the way hitler youth treated Jews?  Remember:  not one of the people whose homes he invaded in the night was ever charged with a thing.  This was pure, 100% intimidation of political opponents.

What a pathetic pig.

If there is a way to remove this sack of manure from any position of authority in Wisconsin, it should be implemented immediately.  He is a crap-stain on the state\’s reputation.

I would think – or at any rate hope – that self-respecting Democrats, no matter how they feel about Governor Walker, would be screaming for john chisholm\’s head, just so as not to be in the position of having to explain/justify his unexplainable, unjustifiable actions.

Are they?
