Two days ago I blogged about the latest Planned Parenthood video released by the Center for Medical Progress – during which a former Planned Parenthood employee discussed, in grisly detail, how her supervisor showed her the beating heart of a baby…before sticking s scissors into its face to kill it, taking care to avoid hitting the brain, which was slated to be extracted, intact, and sold.
Today I googled “Planned Parenthood video beating heart” and looked at the first three pages (I urge you to do the same). I found coverage from Fox News, and a multitude of conservative web sites.
I did not find a thing from CBS, NBC or ABC.
In other words, an actual Planned Parenthood employee, who is on record as personally witnessing the killing of a live baby (what do you call a baby with a beating heart and formed brain?) has gone unreported by the major networks\’ news departments. Not even so much as an attempt to get a statement from Planned Parenthood officials.
That is media suppression. Pure and simple. It is an attempt to make good and damn sure that the general public is unaware of what is happening at Planned Parenthood.
In other words, keep \’em ignorant and you own \’em.
Why are they doing this?
Is it because the personnel in network news rooms are so committed to “a woman\’s right to choose”, that they will look the other way even at the killing of live, out of the womb babies at an abortion facility, because to report it might cause that facility to have to curtail its activities?
If so , the deaths of babies like the one in the video are as much on their heads as on Planned Parenthood\’s.
Or is it that they suppressed the first videos, of Planned Parenthood directors negotiating the price of baby parts for sale…and now that new, more graphic, videos have been issued (this is not the only one – and apparently won\’t be the last), they are trapped by their own initial non-reportage – i.e. to report the latest video means having to explain why they didn\’t report the others.
Regardless of the actual reasons, this stands as a disgrace of major proportions to what passes for media today.
I would say they should be ashamed of themselves…but I won\’t bother, since they seem beyond shame to me.
