WHY WON\’T THE STATE DEPARTMENT TURN OVER THE DOCUMENTS?

Ken Berwitz

Excerpted from Chuck Ross\’s article at dailycaller.com:

Amid the manyunanswered questions in the Hillary Clinton email scandal is whether the formersecretary of state signed an official document acknowledging that she turnedover all of the classified information in her possession to the StateDepartment when she left office in Feb. 2013.

The “ClassifiedInformation Nondisclosure Agreement” – Special Form 312 – also requiresincoming government officials to acknowledge that classified information can beeither “marked” or “unmarked” as such.

But finding outwhether Clinton signed the document has been difficult.

The State Departmentdeclined to say whether she signed the form. The Daily Caller has also learnedthat the agency has not turned SF-312s for Clinton and several of her top aidesover to the Senate Judiciary Committee, which requested them on Aug. 5.

That\’s almost a month and a half since the Senate Judiciary Committee asked for this information – information that the state Department could deliver, it seems to me, in a matter of hours.

Why?

And will the people wasting our time with the “It didn\’t say \’classified\’ at the time” BS acknowledge that this form makes it clear – as if the Secretary Of State wouldn\’t have known it – that documents don\’t need that stamp to show they are classified.

Asking again:  Why would the State Department not turn this over – other than to desperately protect Hillary Clinton from being shown again as the liar that she so obviously is?

If there is any other explanation, let\’s hear it.
