THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today\’s Quote Of The Day goes to robert mugabe, the “elected” (by one way or another) President of Zimbabwe:  a formerly prosperous country that exported food to other nations, but now – after years of race-based cronyism which resulted in productive famland being handed to people based on their skin color rather than anty ability to farm it, has become a beggar nation, reliant on the productivity of others, which can\’t even feed its own people, let alone anyone else\’s.

Yesterday, while at an event in South Africa, mugabe approached a group of journalists.  Upon noting that they were of mixed races, he turned around and walked away, saying (this was caught on audio tape):

“I don\’t want to see a white man”

I award robert mugabe Quote Of The Day honors for proving, again, that racism is an equal opportunity employerl; that no group has any monopoly on it.

Let me end with a question for mugabe:  The latest data I have seen, from 2012, show that your country received aid totaling about $152,000,000 US – 11% of your entire gross national income.  And the single greatest contributor was the “White” USA.

Did you turn down the money?

I didn\’t think so.
