The following video encapsulates a “focus group” conducted by CNN in Youngstown, Ohio, among Democrats who crossed the party line and voted for Donald Trump in 2016. The idea was to find out, one year into the Trump presidency, how they now feel about their choice.
Given CNN’s intense hatred of President Trump, it would be hard not so assume they hoped things would turn out a tad differently. Like, maybe, 100% differently.

A note to CNN, and the Democrats who, it is safe to say, must be appalled by what these fellow party members said: if you think this isn’t happening in other places around the country – many, many other places – you’re deluding yourself.
Simply stated: as cringeworthy as some of the things Donald Trump has said and done are (and there is a boatload of such “things” to choose from), a huge upturn in the economy covers a multitude of sins.
I don’t know how to say it any plainer than that.
