With stock prices down 10% and oil/gas far higher than it was a month ago…
President Trump better have a lot more than bluster and a list of things we have destroyed/”leaders” we have killed in Iran to show for our military action there.
If this doesn’t result in the Strait of Hormuz being opened in the near future (the sooner the better) he and Republicans can kiss the House of Representatives, and probably the Senate as well, goodbye.
But if the Strait of Hormuz is reopened with oil flowing safely, he will be able to tell us that, at a cost of lower stocks/higher oil prices for a short period of time we have removed the world’s most prolific terrorist threat, decapitated its leadership and changed the calculus for the Middle East and the world. Maybe even given the people of Iran a chance to successfully remove the murderous mullahs from power altogether.
That, it seems obvious, would not only make this a highly popular action, but would result in a quick rebound for stocks and quickly lowered oil/gas prices.
Which will it be, President Trump? We’re waiting…
