For three years, the Biden administration has done nothing but appease Iran.
It has looked the other way as Iran’s “Supreme Leader”, ali khamenei, sent its people out into the street to flail their arms and scream “Death to Israel! Death to America!”.
It has looked the other way as Iran has funded and trained proxies throughout the Middle East which are attacking US and Israeli interests – most extensively in the last few months (between 150 and 200 attacks over this time, with more every day).
And it has dramatically enhanced Iran’s revenues, thus its ability to engage in these activities, by lifting the sanctions imposed during the Trump administration and unfreezing billions and billions of dollars Iran has been able to use for whatever purpose it cares to.
Well, today, the inevitable happened. Today, an Iran-funded/trained/supported proxy hit a US air base in Jordan.
At least three of our service personnel are dead and at least 30 are injured.
NOW will the Biden administration wake the eff up and DO something about it? Something besides a few threatening words that khamenei and his pals laugh at and a “proportional response” that they couldn’t care less about?
If Biden (or, more exactly, the puppeteers running him, thus the country) finally do so, it will be too little and too late. But at least it will be something.
And if they don’t? Will you be surprised? Surprised that they let Iran get away with, in this case, literally murder? Surprised that, if they do, the attacks will most certainly continue?
I can only hope this finally wakes Biden & Co. up. But that’s all it is. Just a hope. I would lie to say I have any confidence at all that it this administration will do what it has to; what it should have done already.
