WHY I DON’T TRUST MAINSTREAM MEDIA (CONT.):

I just watched the beginning of this morning’s “Today” show on NBC.

Its “lead” stories were :

-Pete Hegseth, at the start of his tenure as Secretary of Defense, said something he shouldn’t have over an open line (he’s never done it again that we know of);

-There shouldn’t have been a second attack on that boat filled with narcotics (the two alleged survivors should have been left in the middle of the ocean, clinging to what was left of their boat until they died of hypothermia, drowned, or were eaten by sea creatures;

-And video of jeffrey epstein’s Island (the one they’ve spent months trying to tie Donald Trump to and have yet to provide the slightest evidence he had anything to do with the goings-on there).

And here are a few of stories that didn’t make it to “lead story” status (if they are being covered at all):

-The billion dollar fraud scandal in Minnesota, overseen and either overlooked or participated in by Governor – and could-have-been Vice President – tim walz;

-Transportation Secretary Duffy’s information that something like 33% of all commercial drivers’ licences in Minneapolis were issued illegally;

-The just-released audit that showed how easily fraud was – and continues to be- allowed to occur in the Obama Affordable Care Act, at the cost of until millions (billions?) of dollars to the taxpayer.

Bottom line?  If it can be used to nail Trump and Co. it’s news – even if there isn’t any news.  If it can be used to nail prominent Democrats?  Uh…..well……what about Trump!?

And this is no anomaly.  This is how “news” is constructed at all too many supposedly neutral broadcast and print venues around the country?

Why don’t I trust mainstream media?  If you have any doubt about the answer, please reread the above blog.
