My wife says it\’s because Chinese restaurants are the only ones open then (that might have been true once, but not now).
In any event, here is a sign posted by a Chnese Restaurant organization. It supposedly is real…but even if it isn\’t, it\’s fun to look at:
A merry, happy Christmas to all my Christian friends.
A recovery from all the gift-giving and sigh of relief that a menorah candle didn\’t burn the house down to my Jewish friends.
A crowded restaurant and tableful of takeout orders for every Chinese restaurant in a Jewish neighborhood.
And to people of all faiths, cultures and colors: let\’s try to spend the rest of our short time on planet earth getting along with each other. Okay?
