WHOSE WAR ON WOMEN? (CONT.)

Is the Republican Party waging a war on women?

Or is the Democrat Party waging its own war on women – married women –  while using its connection to most mainstream media to pretend it is not?

Excerpted from an editorial in yesterday\’s Investors Business Daily:

Politics:This fall, Democrats will no doubt resurrect the “war on women”theme to try to hold the Senate. But they don\’t really care about allwomen, just the unmarried ones. The IBD/TIPP poll shows why.

Accordingto the Washington Post, the Democratic Congressional CampaignCommittee is building a huge computer database that will let itpredict women\’s marital status.

Thatway they can “pinpoint unmarried women as the target ofspecific, poll-test messages,” according to one source quoted inthe story.

Despiteall the talk among Democrats and the media about the “gendergap” that has supposedly resulted from what they say areRepublicans\’ anti-women policies, the real gap is between married andsingle women.

IBD/TIPP\’smonthly survey finds that, on issue after issue, single women aremore liberal than their married counterparts – often by widemargins.

Singlewomen are more content with the current state of affairs, moreapproving of Obama and far more likely to support his big-governmentpolicies.

The editorial goes on to cite a number of specific findings which buttress its conclusion….which I have left out in the hope that you will use the link provided above and read it all.

But let me ask you this:  If Democrats were truly interested in women – all women, not just the ones they think will win them elections – would they be creating that database?

Do Democrats really care about women in general?  Or just the ones they can extract votes from?

You be the judge.
