WHAT IF A REPUBLICAN SAID THIS?

Ken Berwitz

What if a Republican, talking about Hillary Clinton\’s difficulty in obtaining an endorsement from AFL-CIO head Richard Trumka, said this:

“Say you\’re in love with a girl and want to marry her. She\’s playing it cool. So you figure the best way to make her jealous is to flirt with someone else. Trumka wants to marry Hillary, but until she\’s willing to make stronger commitments to labor he\’s going to flirt with Bernie and Biden. That will get Hillary\’s attention.”

How fast would that Republican be skewered by Democrats and their pals in mainstream media — which means a big, big majority of mainstream media?
How many ways would you hear that the Republican man who made those comments is a sexist pig, that he is clearly showing how Republicans view women, and how well his views mesh with the party\’s war on women, since it is an undeniable demonstration that he considers women subservient to men, just little frail emotional, thus second-rate, inferior beings.
Well, a Republican didn\’t say it.
Those words came from Brad Bannon, Democrat strategist and President of Bannon Communications Research, a “progressive” organization dedicated to working with and electing Democrats.
Now, grow old waiting for those same mainstream media people to say or write a word about it.
