VLADIMIR EGOROV’S “HEART ATTACK”

Tobolsk is a city in Russia.  Long before Russia took it over, Tobolsk was the capital of the Siberian region.

Vladimir Egorov was a rising star in Tobolsk – a man who overcame corruption charges in 3016 and had become a Deputy in the city’s Duma (legislative assembly).  He was also an ally of Russian President vladimir putin.

But not any longer.  Vladimir Egorov, is dead.

Yesterday, Egorov fell, or jumped, or was pushed out a third floor window (or as a government flack claimed, he had a heart attack…which, we are supposed to believe, caused him to fly out a window), and that was the end of him.

And it’s not like this is the only strange incident of a Putin “ally” going bye-bye under less than credible circumstances.   It is only one of the most recent.  Here is a partial (to say the least) compilation from Jessica Baker and Will Stewart’s article for London’s Daily Sun:

It comes after Lukoil tycoon Ravil Maganov, 67, fell from a window of Moscow’s elite Central Clinical Hospital – known to some as the Kremlin clinic – in September last year.

Maganov was also reported to have been suffering heart problems.

In February, top Russian defence official and key figure in the funding of Putin’s illegal war in Ukraine Marina Yankina, 58, also fell 160ft to her death in St Petersburg.

She was head of the financial support department of the Ministry of Defence for the Western Military District, which is closely involved in the dictator’s invasion

Is it just me, or do people around putin seem to have a very high mortality rate?

So who’s next?

And, possibly even more interestingly, given that the last couple were, at least on the surface, allies rather than enemies of putin, have the tables turned?  Is it putin & Co. who should be watching out for “heart attacks” more than the people who dare to oppose them?

Let’s stay tuned, and see who has the next “heart attack”.  Who knows; maybe it will be someone with a five letter name starting with p.
