Interesting.
Now, after spending months advocating against the release of all remaining jeffrey epstein-related files, President Trump suddenly supports their release.
Why?
The initial thought is that either he has just recently been assured there’s nothing incriminating there, or that there was incriminating material, and now his people have gotten rid of it.
But, related to the second of those two possibilities, let’s remember that the Biden administration had full access to every one of those files for four full years. Is there any doubt at all that, if there were anything incriminating Biden or Kamala Harris could have used during the 2024 presidential campaign they would have put it out there? Of course they would have.
So what’s left?
Well, here’s one possibility: that Trump didn’t want additional files released because mainstream media – as is their wont with so many other issues concerning him – would contort their contents to say things they don’t say.
A case in point is media “reporting” of the three epstein emails released by Democrat house members last week. Two examples:
-The one that says “VICTIM” spent hours at my house with him”. Look at how many of our media declined to mention that the “victim” was Virginia Giuffre, who testified several times that Trump never acted improperly with her at all. By leaving that out – exactly what Democrats hoped they would do – instead of an innocent comment about time spent between Giuffre and Trump, readers could conclude that it said Trump was the one victimizing her;
-The one that says “he knew about the girls“, which has been reported by so many of our media as if it were a complete thought, rather than informing readers/viewers of the full sentence, which actually said “he knew about the girls so he asked ghislaine to stop“. By leaving out the last part, they make it seem that Trump was at least OK with the existence of “the girls” (read that “the underage girls”)….without making them aware that Trump wanted epstein’s second-in-command, ghislaine maxwell, to stop whatever was going on there.
Is that the reason Trump didn’t want these files released? Because he assumed, based on massive experience, that our wonderful “neutral” media would do Democrats’ bidding and transform their meaning into negatives they could attack him for?
That, to me, seems the most logical explanation.
