President Trump and the big shots in Iran are allegedly in a “negotiation” to make some kind of a “deal”, with Trump threatening terrible consequences if the “deal” were not consummated.
If you believe Donald Trump – who has sent significant military assets, mainly warships, to the area around Iran while he “negotiates” – is seriously considering a “deal” with Iran, I know a competent shrink I can refer you to.
Iran is the decades-long home of “death to America!”. And even now, as “negotiations” are supposedly in progress, khameinei is acting like someone who expects, even wants, the military confrontation I strongly suspect he will get very soon.
From Joshua Klein’s article at breitbart.com:
As high-stakes nuclear negotiations resumed Tuesday in Geneva under mounting U.S. military pressure, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei taunted President Donald Trump and warned that American warships could be sent “to the bottom of the sea,” denouncing the United States as a “corrupt, oppressive empire” in decline.
In a series of posts on Tuesday, Ali Khamenei published multiple statements on X escalating his rhetoric against the United States and directly challenging the President Trump and American military power.
The remarks came just one day after Trump said he would be “indirectly” involved in the Geneva talks and warned that while Iran “wants to make a deal,” the regime does not want “the consequences of not making a deal,” as U.S. forces continue repositioning assets across the region
khamenei is threatening the United States and Trump is piling military assets into the region. Does that come across as a “negotiation” to you? I mean, really.
And if/when we attack, is there any doubt that a great many Irani citizens will run, not walk, to join the effort to remove khamenei and his hate-filled mass-murdering subordinates from power? That they will look to avenge the tens of thousands killed by khamenei in the recent uprising?
Any day khamenei flees the country will be no surprise to me.
Bottom line? Get ready. Because I’m laying odds – heavy odds – that this is not going to end with a handshake. Nor should it.
