THE NEW YORK TIMES AND THE TREN DE ARAGUA GANG PROBLEM IN AURORA, COLORADO

Remember when mainstream media – the New York Times front and center among them – were either denying that the tren de aragua Venezuelan gang had taken over an apartment complex in Aurora, Colorado or claiming that, yeah, there were a few incidents but the problem was way overblown?

Well now – months and months later (and long after it would hurt Democrat chances in the 2024 election), The Times is singing a different tune.

Read this article by John Sexton of hotair.com and see for yourself.  Here are excerpts:

Last September, in the waning months of the election, the NY Times published a story titled “How the False Story of a Gang ‘Takeover’ in Colorado Reached Trump.”

And the general response from the left was a lot like the NY Times story above. They claimed it was a false story used by Trump to attack migrants.

Today, the Times published a rebuttal of sorts about the same incidents. The tone of this one is very different. It’s headline reads, “Democrats Denied This City Had a Gang Problem. The Truth Is Complicated.”

The truth lies in the middle isn’t really the story here. The story is that Democrats denied this was happening and they were wrong. It was happening.

There is much, much more to this story – complete with videos – and I certrainly hope you use the link and read every word.

But let’s not lose sight of the key point here:  the Times, along with many other mainstream media venues, covered for the Biden administration on the situation in Aurora (and in other instances of illegal alien gang activity as well).

Plainly said, they did not act as journalists.  They acted as Democrat propagandists.  And, based on the polls showing lower and lower trust levels for them, the public has caught on.

They have no one to blame but themselves.
