Today’s quote comes to us from Democrat Mayoral candidate zohran mamdani. It is his explanation of why, when applying for college at Columbia University, he checked both “Indian” and “Black”.
“Most college applications don’t have a box for Indian-Ugandans, so I checked multiple boxes trying to capture the fullness of my background.”
See, it wasn’t that adding Black – which he is not – gave him a minority-student advantage that might pull him across the finish line acceptance-wise (at the expense of an applicant who was actually Black, let’s not forget. It was just to express the “fullness of his background”.
If he ever read any part of the old testament I guess he could have checked “Jewish” too.
I award zohran mamdani Quote Of The Day (dis)honors for lying on his college application to get in, thus displacing a student who told the truth about his/her background.
But don’t worry. Let’s just forget about it, because, if he is elected, he will give everything to everyone (except those rich White folks) for free. Honest. Just ask him.
