THE TRANS-PACIFIC PACT: OBAMACARE II?

How bad is the Trans-Pacific Pact (TPP) that President Obama is trying to shove down our throats?

So bad that – like ObamaCare – we\’re supposed to know as little as possible about what\’s in it…until it\’s passed, that is.

If you want to hear the details of the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal the Obama administration is hoping to pass, you\’ve got to be a member of Congress, and you\’ve got to go to classified briefings and leave your staff and cellphone at the door.

If you\’re a member who wants to read the text, you\’ve got to go to a room in the basement of the Capitol Visitor Center and be handed it one section at a time, watched over as you read, and forced to hand over any notes you make before leaving.

And no matter what, you can\’t discuss the details of what you\’ve read.

“It\’s like being in kindergarten,” said Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.), who\’s become the leader of the opposition to President Barack Obama\’s trade agenda. “You give back the toys at the end.”

It\’s “But we have to pass the bill so you can find out what\’s in it” all over again.  Just like ObamaCare – which, despite the herculean efforts of Democrats and their media pals (which is to say the preponderance of media) to convince you otherwise, this county did not want when it was passed and does not want to this day.  Read the polls and see for yourself.  Feel free to go back five years.

Rosa DeLauro is a hard-left Obama-loving Democrat.  If this is what she thinks about this disgraceful charade, what are we supposed to think about it?

I don\’t know what, specifically is in TPP.  But this desperate attempt to keep the information from us, and from congress, makes me dead certain it is nothing we should be enacting into law. 

May it be voted down, and Obama\’s veto overridden.
