First it was anchorperson Abby Martin – who, at the end of her show on RT (Russia Today), blasted Russia for invading Crimea – and then refused to go there when puti…er, the people who run RT…said they would send her there.
Then it was Liz Wahl, who resigned on-air over the invasion.
I\’m glad they did what they did. But doesn\’t it beg the question of who the hell they thought they were working for in the first place?
Now – uncharacteristically – there might even be some actual viewership on RT, as people who either never heard of it – or did, and dismissed it as the propaganda arm of putin\’s Russia – tune in – if, for no other reason, to see if more of its on-air people decide to take the plunge and attack RT for being what they should have known it was all along – a rubber stamp for the Kremlin.
I wouldn\’t be surprised at all if it happens, either.
