Today\’s quote comes to us from Laurence Tribe, the long-time Harvard Law Professor, devout liberal/leftist, and adviser to President Obama (who he remembers teaching when Mr. Obama was at Harvard Law School, which is significant because that makes Tribe virtually the only person on the planet who has come forth to say he/she remembers Mr. Obama was there.)
Professor Tribe was asked what he thinks about the current ObamaCare lawsuits making their way to the Supreme Court – most notably the one regarding which people are and are not qualified to receive subsidies. His answer?
“Idon\’t have a crystal ball, but I wouldn\’t bet the family farm onthis coming out in a way that preserves Obamacare.”
Those are very strong words, coming as they do from a man who strongly supports both ObamaCare and the President who either blessed or cursed us with it (depending, of course, on your point of view).
Candor is a major attribute in awarding Quote Of The Day honors, and it took a lot for Professor Tribe to say what he did. So he is today\’s winner – though I suspect he wishes he weren\’t.
Congratulations to you, Professor. Well done. Hopelesslypartisan.com awards you an A+. Now, about your other views……….
