Just getting around to this…..
Did you happen to catch Hapless Harry Reid\’s comment about his intention to end-around the Supreme Court\’s Hobby Lobby decision?
In case you missed it, here is what Reid had to say:
“Theone thing we are going to do during this work period, sooner ratherthan later, is to ensure that women\’s lives are not determine byvirtue of five white men.”
Fascinating.
First off, why does Reid, along with so many of his likeminded leftist pals, find it necessary to classify people as components of groups rather than as individuals? Why is it that so many of these people, who profess their commitment to equality and their belief that we are all the same – one no better or worse than the other – never seem to see people simply as people – but almost unfailingly classify them by race, religion and gender?
What hypocrisy.
And then we have the issue of accuracy – which is always in play when Harry Reid says anything about any subject at all.

That is Justice Clarence Thomas. Does he look White to you?
If Harry Reid were a Republican, he would have been laughed out of the senate years ago. He would have been howled out of the senate years ago. The number of articles, features, panel discussions, etc. about his countless mistakes, stupidities and lies would have been regular features throughout mainstream media.
Here\’s a challenge for you: Two of the most reviled Republicans of the past several years are Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz. Match up how many of their comments are mistaken, stupid or dishonest against those of Harry Reid. See who “wins”. Then consider the fact that Reid is the Majority Leader of the US Senate; thus his mistakes, stupidities and lies are vested in a man far more powerful than either Palin or Cruz have ever been.
Then tell me with a straight face that mainstream media in this country are not biased. I dare you.
