Today\’s quote comes to us from far-leftist Alex Wagner, who hosts a show on (where else?) MSNBC.
Here is Ms. Wagner\’s reaction to the protesters in Murrieta, California who are turning away the busloads of illegal aliens the Obama administration wants to unceremoniously dump in their community:
“Iam shocked – when you see the footage of these furious crowdsyelling “Go home, go home.” I think it brings – I willsay personally I found it to be a shameful moment to be an Americanto see people treated like that, people who are seeking a new dayhere in America.”
Shocked, are you?
Are you shocked, Ms. Wagner, that hundreds of thousands of children are being sent, on their own, through Mexico into the USA illegally?
Are you shocked that their guardians send them this way ? Do you wonder if what they are really doing is getting rid of them?
Are you shocked that some of the illegal aliens don\’t make it? That there are reports young girls are being raped on the way, sometimes left behind and/or killed outright when the abusers are finished? Are you shocked that this happens because there is no one to stop them?
Are you shocked that Honduras, Guatemala and Mexico have systems of government with no capability – maybe no interest – in taking care of their own children? That they are not outraged or ashamed at this mass exodus, but seem perfectly fine with it?
Are you shocked that the Obama administration ignores the immigration laws it is sworn to uphold, and is sending them – planting them is more like it – all over the country for local governments to deal with?
Are you shocked that the Obama administration lied to us when it said there were so many fewer illegal aliens flooding into the USA than there actually are?
Are you shocked that the Obama administration lied to us about diligently deporting them back to their home countries?
No, you are shocked that one community (and I have no doubt there will be more) does not want a sudden influx of illegal aliens with no means of support, no cultural tie to the country, who cannot speak our language and must be taken care of on the US taxpayer. This makes you ashamed to be an American.
I award Alex Wagner Quote Of The Day honors for being so far gone that she can ignore every fact posted above to come to this conclusion. It is a level of ideological obtuseness you don\’t see every day. Not even at MSNBC.
