Today\’s quote comes to us from Patricia Smith, the mother of Sean Smith a Foreign Service Information Management Officer at our compound at Benghazi, and one of the four of our citizens massacred there.
Ms. Smith, reacting to complaints that the Trey Gowdy-led committee is focusing on Hillary Clinton in its Benghazi investigation, said this (and a lot more – click here and see):
“First of all, itis about Hillary. This is herdepartment. It was her area, her bailiwick, and she did all the instruction onwhat should be done there. Why shouldn\’t they talk to Hillary about it?”
“If she would have opened up her email thing sowe can find out what she said at that time -I understand she was talking toObama while this was going on.“I want to know was she talking toObama. I want to hear from her lips what she said.”
So do I, Ms. Smith. And so, I assure you do countless others.
Does this put to bed the issue of why the house Oversight Committee is focusing on Hillary Clinton? I would certainly think so.
As I asked in a previous blog, who should the committee be focusing on? A file clerk at HUD?
