THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Ken Berwitz

Today\’s quote comes to us from Brian Fallon, Press Secretary for former Secretary Of State and current presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton.
Fallon wins, for mimicking his boss, and pretending he doesn\’t know what “wiping” a computer\’s emails means.

From Bradford Richardson\’s article at thehill.com:

Hillary Clinton\’s press secretary says he doesn\’t know what the word “wiped” means in reference to his boss\’s private email server.

“I don\’t know what \’wiped\’ means,” Brian Fallon told CNN\’s Brianna Keilar on Thursday in response to whether the server Clinton handed over to the FBI was “wiped.”

“There’s been no – I don\’t know what \’wiped\’ means, literally the emails were deleted off of the server, that\’s true,” he repeated later in the interview.

Hillary Clinton and her people have a habit of counting on enough of us to be too low information, and/or too stupid, and/or too pre-committed to her candidacy, to allow obviously fraudulent comments like this to permeate their voting decisions.
Brian Fallon, by claiming – not as a “joke”, which is what Clinton lamely and unsuccessfully tried to claim, but for real – that he does not know what “wiping” a computer means, takes this to a new level.
It makes him sound like either a complete fool, a cynical political operative with no respect for our inteligence, or both.  But, on the brighter side, it does win him Quote Of The Day honors.
Contratulations are in order, I\’m sure.
