Today\’s quote comes to us from that paradigm of love and tolerance, louis farrakhan.
Speaking before an enthusiastic Black crowd in Miami, farrakhan said this – which also was repeated on his facebook page:
“If the federal government won\’t intercede in our affairs, then we MUST rise up and kill those who kill us. Stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we\’re feeling.”
Interesting comment.
Is he talking about killing police? Maybe not, since police – usually for very justifiable reasons – only kill a tiny percentage of the Black people who are murdered in the USA each year; less than 1%.
Is he talking about killing White people? Maybe not, since White people account for only about 6% of the murders of Black people.
Is he talking about killing Black people? Maybe so, since almost all Black murders each year – over 90% of them – are committed by other Black people.
I award louis farrakhan Quote Of The Day honors, for keeping the meaning of his words so well hidden that we can\’t really be sure who he was talking about.
Or can we?
Oh, one other thing: If a White Evangelical preacher, ever made a speech like that, it would be national news, complete with calls for his arrest…. and very justifiably so.
When do you figure the national news media will be doing the same for farrakhan? Personally, I\’m guessing about three days after Hillary Clinton demands that Planned Parenthood close its medical facilities and become a subsidiary of Birthright International.
