Today’s quote come to us from Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD).
This, so help me, is what he said on ABC’s “This Week” show this morning:
“We’re not holding up all of the money for all the Department of Homeland Security. That’s just a false statement. We have said repeatedly, repeatedly, we should fund [the Transportation Security Administration].”
Democrats have voted down every bill to fund DHS for a month and a half. But this is what he told ABC’s Jonathan Karl with a straight face.
I award Chris Van Hollen Quote Of The Day “honors” for demonstrating so clearly that he thinks Maryland voters – and, evidently, “This Week” viewers – are a bunch of SIPs* who will buy anything an anti-Trump Democrat (sorry for the redundancy) will serve up.
