Today’s quote comes to us from a so-called “influencer” (talk about bs descriptions!!) named brian krassenstein.
krassenstein, and his brother edward, hate President Trump. And in the course of displaying that hatred, they have put out an ongoing series of tweets attacking/insulting him.
Here is brian’s latest:
‘Trump is a dead man walking.
“America should ‘put him to sleep,’ NOW. It is the humanitarian thing to do.”
Not surprisingly, a lot of people saw that as krassenstein’s recommendation that President Trump should be killed. And a lot of them (including, I am confident, a good many supporters of krassenstein) made it clear that this was wrong.
So how did krassenstein react? Instead of manning up, admitting it shouldn’t have been said, and taking it back, he tweeted this:

“I am not calling for violence against Trump of any kind.
“I am 100% against violence. I am also 100% for pointing out the hypocrisy of MAGA.
“Happy Holidays!”
Got that? You’re supposed believe that a serial Trump hater saying Trump is a dead man walking, and should be put to sleep, isn’t suggesting anything violent. What’s wrong with you anyway?
I award ben krassenstein Quote Of The Day “honors” for so clearly telling his followers that he thinks they are either complete idiots, or mind-numbed drones who will be ok with anything he says, no matter how sick/disgusting it is.
