Today\’s quote comes to us from President Obama. It is incredible, but he really said it, during an interview with Ezra Klein\’s reliably left wing, thus reliably pro-Obama, vox.com:
“Itis entirely legtitimate for the American people to be deeplyconcerned when you\’ve got a bunch of violent vicious zealots whobehead people or randomly shoot a bunch of folks in a deli in Paris.”
Why is this the quote of the day? Because in that one sentence we see that, in the world of Obama:
-The “violent vicious zealots” are not identified as radical Islamists, any more than ISIS or al qaeda or boko haram, or the taliban, or hezbollah, or hamas, or any of those other “extremist groups: the fact that every one of them professes allegiance to Islam and shari\’a law? Coincidence.
-The killing of people in a kosher food store during Friday, when it would be crowded with people buying food for Shabbos (the Jewish Sabbath, which is on Saturday) was just a random shooting of folks. You know, like on a beach or at a picnic. Nothing at all that drew the killers to that place at that time. No anti-Semitism there, sheeple. Just move along, nothing to see, nothing to see.
Would Mr. Obama have said the same thing if those were White supremacist gunmen killing attendees at a Black church on Sunday?
Mr. Obama wins Quote Of The Day honors for saying something that is either so stupid, or so obtuse, or so malevolent that – if he had any capacity at all for shame – he would be apologizing every way he could think of right now.
But since Barack Obama has no such capacity, you can kiss those apologies goodbye.
