Today’s quote comes to us from (mercifully) ex-president Joe Biden.
It was made in December, 2020, during an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper. At that time, Tapper asked Biden about the possibility that then outgoing President Trump would issue pre-emptive pardons to people around him.
Said Biden:
“Well, it concerns me in terms of what kind of precedent it sets in how the rest of the world looks at us as a nation of laws and justice…
…you’re not going to see in our administration that kind of approach to pardons, nor are you going to see in our administration the approach to making policy by tweets. You know, it’s going to be a totally different way in which we approach the justice system.”
Fast-forward to the present time, and….you don’t need me to finish this sentence, you already know it.
I award Joe Biden Quote Of The Day honors for staying true to form, then as now: a serial liar who relies on mainstream media covering for him to get away with his lies.
