Today’s quote comes to us from BLM (remember them?) “leader” hawk newsome.
Here is newsome’s reaction to Daniel Penny being found innocent of criminally negligent homicide:
“What we preach is unity, black unity. Stop begging this system to justify our lives. Stop begging this system for justice. When things happen to you, you step up and defend yourself. Just like everybody else seeks justice on their own, just like everybody else has vigilantes, we need some black vigilantes. People want to jump up and choke us, and kill us for being loud? How about we do the same when they attempt to oppress us.”
There you go. jordan neely, with his 42 prior arrests – 4 for assault – and his overt threats to the people in that subway car, wasn’t any danger to anyone, he was just a Black man being loud. No problem at all.
As for the passengers in that subway car – of multiple races including Black – who testified that neely was extremely dangerous, they feared for their safety, and they were thankful for what Penny did? Doesn’t count.
It also doesn’t count that the jury which found Penny innocent also included both White and non-White members – at least one of them Black. Let’s not bother with trivialities.
jordan neely was Black and Daniel Penny was White. To the hawk newsomes of the world that is the end of the story; a 100% justification to make threats and maybe dish out a little “street justice”. That’s what vigilantes do, don’t they?
I award hawk newsome Quote Of The Day (dis)honors for showing us – again – what Black Lives Matter is all about/giving us another example of the fact that it is a racist exploitation group of the first order.
(On the other hand, maybe newsome’s diatribe/threats might convince a few more people to contribute money to BLM; hey, like P. T. Barnum is supposed to have said, there’s a sucker born every minute.)
