Today’s quote comes to us from Douglas Emhoff, Kamala Harris’s husband and the country’s potential “First Mate”.
Here, from yesterday’s campaign event in Atlanta, is an actual quote from Mr. Emhoff:
“My wife! She’s such a badass! Kamala did what Kamala always does. She put her head down and went to work”
I’m not kidding, he really said that.
I can’t get the thought of now-90 year old former Speaker of the California State Assembly and Mayor of San Francisco Willie Brown, who used his immense power and influence to launch Kamala Harris’s political career while she was, er, consorting with him in private, smiling and thinking to himself “Yep, you got that right!!”
Douglas Emhoff wins Quote Of The Day honors for making me laugh at the no-doubt unintentional mental picture he left me with.
