THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today’s quote comes to us from Martha Raddatz of ABC News.

This is what she said, on-air, this past Sunday, about the number of United States troops stationed abroad:

“There are currently 900 U.S. military personnel in Syria, 2,500 U.S. troops in Iraq. All have been under regular threat from drones and missiles for months. We also have action in the Red Sea. Also, every single day, the Navy SEALs, Delta Forces special operators can be part of any sort of deadly raid.”

Why is this important?

Because, during the Donald Trump/Kamala Harris debate moderated by her ABC colleagues David Muir and Linsey Davis, Harris said…

“There is not one member of the United States military who is in active duty in a combat zone in any war zone around the world, the first time this century.”

…and neither Muir or Davis, both quick to fact-check Trump on anything and everything throughout the debate, let this blatant lie go by without a word.

I therefore award Martha Raddatz – no fan of Donald Trump’s, I assure you – Quote Of The Day honors for her honesty in demonstrating to ABC viewers what a disgrace Muir and Davis were as moderators; why the claim that it was not two debaters and two moderators but a three-to-one against Trump has so much validity.

Now, will Ms. Raddatz also call Harris out on the other blatant lies she told about Trump? (Here is a video from Sky News-Australia listing out a bunch of them).

I’ll wait and see…assuming that she still has a job at ABC News.
